GREYSTONE lakeside gathering at dusk
Connect

Longevity, shared

Why It Matters

The company you keep,
keeps you.

Strong relationships are one of the most powerful predictors of a long, healthy life — stronger than many people realize. At GREYSTONE, connection isn't something you schedule. It's something that happens naturally here.

The Connect Program

The art of good company.

Every gathering is built for real connection and creative expression — around the fire, on the water, and at the table.

Explore the Longevity Menu

Around the fire, no one is a stranger.

By Design

Small by design. Close by nature.

Most health destinations make connection optional — a bar, a lobby, a chance encounter. GREYSTONE makes it structural. Thirty-five villas means a shared cohort, not a crowd. Communal tables seat guests together by default. Campfires, foraging walks, and workshops are built for small groups, not audiences.

Arrive alone, with a partner, or with friends — it works either way. Nothing is forced and nothing is required. Your Ambassador makes the first introductions, and the place does the rest. Guests who arrive solo tend to leave with the fullest tables.

The Science

What the longest lives have in common.

The science is clear: strong relationships are one of the strongest predictors of how long and how well we live.

~50%
People with strong social relationships have roughly a 50% greater likelihood of survival — an effect size researchers compare to quitting smoking.
Holt-Lunstad et al., PLoS Medicine, 2010 (meta-analysis, 300,000+ people).
Above all
In one of the longest studies of adult life, the quality of close relationships predicted late-life health and happiness more than wealth, fame, or class.
Harvard Study of Adult Development (Waldinger).
~15 a day
The U.S. Surgeon General likens the mortality impact of chronic isolation to smoking up to fifteen cigarettes a day.
U.S. Surgeon General's Advisory, 2023.
Where It Happens

Connection is everywhere here.

It unfolds naturally across the land — at the table, around the fire, on the water, and in quiet shared moments throughout the day.

The Communal Table at Sassafras

Shared meals where strangers become friends over seasonal, farm-to-table dishes.
